Terms of use

These terms cover your use of roadwayads.com, its forms and mockup tool, our text messages, and the advertiser portal. The site is run by Roadway Displays, Inc., doing business as Roadway Ad Network. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you use it for a business or agency, you confirm you can accept them for it.

Updated October 3, 2026

Draft. Pending attorney review.

Effective date: October 3, 2026.

1. For businesses

The site is for businesses, agencies and the people who work for them. It is not for children or for personal, family or household purposes.

2. No offer, prices or availability

Nothing on the site is an offer to sell advertising space. The site shows no prices or availability, and no city is open yet. Advertising is sold only through a signed insertion order or agreement (an "Order"). Orders are governed by our Advertiser Terms and the Order. If an Order conflicts with these terms, the Order controls.

3. Mockups and illustrations

Mockups, sample ads and truck images on the site are illustrations. They show what an ad could look like. They are not a booked placement, an approval, or a promise that an ad will run, and panel sizes are set by each city. Colors and proportions on screen may differ from print.

4. The ad policy and city approval

Every ad must meet the ad policy and the written ad policy of the city whose trucks carry it. We may reject or remove an ad that does not. Approval means an ad meets the written policy. It does not mean any city or Roadway endorses the business. Each city decides whether and when to allow advertising on its trucks.

5. What you send us

The logo you add in the mockup tool stays in your browser and is not uploaded. For anything you do send us, such as artwork, logos or text in the portal or by email, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, that it is truthful and lawful, and that it carries any license number or attorney information your trade requires. You give us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use it to prepare mockups, quotes, proofs, panels and campaign records. You are responsible for your ad's claims.

6. Text message terms

  • Program: Roadway Ad Network texts about your request, quotes, scheduling, your city's status and, if you agree, offers about advertising on city trucks.
  • How to join: check the text-message box on our forms, or text us first. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Frequency: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed. Reply START to rejoin.
  • Help: reply HELP, or email ads@roadwaydisplays.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: see Text messages in our privacy policy. We do not share mobile numbers or text opt-in data for third parties' marketing.

7. The advertiser portal

Portal access is by invitation. Keep your login email secure, use the portal only for your own or your clients' campaigns, and tell us right away about any unauthorized use. Our Advertiser Terms and your Order govern campaigns, artwork deadlines, approvals, billing and makegoods. We may suspend access to protect the portal, other users or a city.

8. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site for anything unlawful, false, misleading or infringing.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the site's security, or try to get around access controls.
  • Do not upload malware or anything harmful.
  • Do not scrape, copy in bulk, or reuse the site's content or contact information.
  • Do not impersonate anyone or submit someone else's information without permission.
  • Do not use the site to build a competing service.

9. Our intellectual property

The site, its text, design, photos, the mockup tool and the Roadway names and logos belong to Roadway Displays, Inc. or its licensors. You may view and use the site for your own business evaluation. Truck photos show real installs with city messages or labeled illustrations and may not be reused.

The site links to and uses services run by others, such as scheduling, maps and platform opt-out pages. We are not responsible for them and do not endorse them.

11. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle information and is part of these terms. You can change your cookie and advertising choices on Your Privacy Choices.

12. No warranty

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE ANY NUMBER OF VIEWS, CALLS OR RESULTS. Any reach figure we show is labeled as an estimate.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ABOUT THE SITE IS LIMITED TO US$100. This section does not limit liability for fraud, willful injury or anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and it does not change any Order.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Roadway Displays, Inc. against claims arising from content you send us, your misuse of the site, or your breach of these terms. A public agency's obligation applies only as far as the law allows it.

15. Public agencies

If you use the site for a city or other public agency, nothing here binds the agency beyond what the law permits, and the agency's signed contracts control.

16. Governing law and disputes

California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site will be heard only in the state courts in Riverside County, California, or the federal court for that district, and you consent to those courts. These terms do not require arbitration.

If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, email ads@roadwaydisplays.com with the work, where it appears, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act.

18. Changes and termination

We may change the site or these terms. Changes apply from the new effective date and do not change a signed Order. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. Sections 5, 9 and 12 to 16 survive.

19. General

These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement about the site. If part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them as part of a business transfer.
