Draft. Pending attorney review.
Effective date: October 3, 2026. Last updated: October 3, 2026.
This policy covers the Roadway Ad Network website, its forms and mockup tool, the advertiser portal, and our calls, texts and emails about advertising on city trucks. The Roadway Displays frame and panel website, roadwaydisplays.com, has its own policy. Our site is for businesses, agencies and the people who work for them. It is not directed to children.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quote and agency forms: your business category and ZIP code, then your name, business or agency name, email, and (optional) mobile number. Agencies can add the client's category and the markets they plan.
- Waitlist form: your ZIP code, email, optional business name, and whether we may tell your city a local business asked.
- Mockup download: your email, business name and headline, so we can send the image.
- Messages to us: what you write in emails, texts and calls.
- Advertiser portal: your login email, name and role, your business details, the artwork you upload, campaign and booking details, approvals and comments.
Please do not send us sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or health information.
Your logo in the mockup tool stays in your browser
When you add a logo to the free mockup tool, your browser draws it onto the truck image. The logo file is never uploaded to us. Artwork you upload in the advertiser portal is different: we store it so we can review, print and install your ad.
Information collected automatically
When you use the site we and our partners collect your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and form interactions with timestamps, the page or ad that sent you here, campaign tags (UTM tags and ad click IDs such as Google's gclid), and cookie, pixel and local-storage identifiers. Our forms also record the page you were on and how you reached the site.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from agencies acting for their clients, from cities that review ads, from public business records such as contractor license lookups, and from advertising and analytics platforms that report how our ads performed.
How we use information
- Answer your request, prepare quotes and mockups, and schedule calls.
- Tell you when your city opens, if you joined the waitlist.
- Run the advertiser portal: review artwork, check ads against each city's ad policy, print, install and send proof photos.
- Send the emails and texts you asked for, and marketing messages where the law allows.
- Record and transcribe calls for quality, training and to connect a call to the page or ad that led to it.
- Understand how the site is used and improve it.
- Measure our advertising and, if you allow advertising cookies, show our ads to you on other sites.
- Keep consent records, prevent fraud and spam, and secure our systems.
- Meet legal, tax and contract obligations, and defend legal claims.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that work for us under contract: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database, login and file storage), HubSpot (customer records and meeting scheduling), Resend (email delivery), CallRail (call tracking, recording and transcription), our text-messaging provider and the mobile carriers, and Google Analytics (site measurement).
- Advertising partners, only if you allow advertising cookies: Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft. See Cookies, pixels and session replay.
- Cities. If you check the waitlist box, we tell the city for the ZIP code you entered that a local business asked, using your business name and category only, never your email or phone. When you advertise, the city that runs the trucks reviews your ad and can see your business name, your ad and your booking.
- Agencies that buy for you, and people you ask us to share with.
- Legal and safety: when the law requires it, to respond to legal process, or to protect our rights and people's safety.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, financing, sale of assets or reorganization, under this policy.
Public records. Cities are public agencies. What we or you send to a city, including your ad and your business details, may be released under public-records laws.
Cookies, pixels and session replay
We use four kinds of technology. Strictly necessary keeps the site and portal working and secure and remembers your privacy choices; it is always on. Functional remembers settings. Analytics measures how the site is used. Advertising measures our ads and shows them to you elsewhere. Analytics and advertising technologies do not load until you allow them in our cookie banner or on Your Privacy Choices, and you can change your mind there at any time. Your choice applies to the browser you use.
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure site use, and, if you allow advertising cookies, Google Ads conversion tracking, remarketing and Google Analytics advertising features (including Google Signals). With these features, Google and other vendors use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as Google advertising cookies) together to show our ads on sites across the internet and to measure how visits and ad views relate. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings, with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or at the NAI opt-out page.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
If you allow advertising cookies, we use the Meta Pixel. Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect or receive information from our site and elsewhere on the internet, and use it to measure our ads and target ads. You can opt out at aboutads.info/choices and in your Meta ad preferences.
If you allow advertising cookies, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure our campaigns, see the industries and job functions of visitors in aggregate, and show our ads to people who visited. You can opt out in your LinkedIn ad settings.
Microsoft Advertising and Microsoft Clarity
If you allow advertising cookies, we use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking, which tracks individual users and shares data with Microsoft for advertising and marketing. If you allow analytics, we partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay, to improve and market our services. Clarity records clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and page navigation; we set it to mask what you type into forms, and we do not use it in the advertiser portal. For more, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can opt out of Microsoft personalized ads at the Microsoft privacy dashboard.
HubSpot and CallRail
If you allow analytics, HubSpot cookies record the pages you view so we can connect a request to your earlier visits. CallRail may show a different phone number depending on how you reached the site, so we can tell which page or ad led to a call.
Your choices about ads: Do Not Sell or Share
We do not sell personal information for money. When you allow advertising cookies, Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft receive information about your visit, such as pages viewed, a cookie or device ID and your IP address, to measure our ads and show you our ads on other sites. California law may treat this as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Opt out any time on Your Privacy Choices or by choosing Reject nonessential in the cookie banner.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). We treat a GPC signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser. We apply it as soon as the page loads, before any advertising technology runs, and Your Privacy Choices shows "Opt-out preference signal honored." If you have an account or we know who you are, we apply it to our records about you too.
- Do Not Track. Browsers' older Do Not Track setting has no agreed standard, so our site does not respond to it. We do honor GPC.
- We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Text messages
We text you only if you check the text-message box on our forms, or text us first. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. The full program terms are in our text message terms.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers, or text-messaging opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared only with service providers that help us deliver messages, such as our messaging platform and the carriers. All other categories of sharing in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
Calls and call recording
Calls to or from Roadway Ad Network, including calls to the tracking numbers on our website and ads, may be recorded and transcribed by our call-tracking provider, CallRail, for quality, training and to connect a call to the page or ad that led to it. We tell callers at the start of the call. If you would rather not be recorded, say so and we will continue without recording or follow up by email. Recordings are kept for 12 months.
Emails you ask for, such as your mockup or a reply to your request, are sent through our email provider. If we send marketing email, every message includes our postal address and an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribes within 10 business days. Service messages about your request or account continue after you unsubscribe from marketing.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it.
- Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including through Global Privacy Control.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. The only sensitive information we hold is portal login credentials, used only to sign you in, so we do not offer a separate limit option.
- Not be discriminated against for using these rights.
How to make a request: email ads@roadwaydisplays.com or write to us at 27478 Enterprise Circle West, Suite 1, Temecula, California 92590. For ad opt-outs, use Your Privacy Choices. We confirm requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days (we may extend once by 45 days and will tell you why). We verify your identity by matching information we already hold, such as your email address. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for your signed permission and may confirm your identity with you directly. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal."
Past 12 months. We collected the categories in the notice at collection above: identifiers, commercial information (requests, bookings), internet and network activity, approximate geolocation, audio (call recordings) and professional information (business and role). We disclosed them for business purposes to the service providers named above, and, where you allowed advertising cookies, may have shared identifiers and internet activity with Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft for cross-context behavioral advertising. We did not sell personal information for money.
Residents of other U.S. states
Wherever you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or opt out of targeted advertising, by emailing ads@roadwaydisplays.com. We honor these requests regardless of state. If we deny one, reply with "Appeal" and we will review it.
California Shine the Light
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Children
Our site is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Data security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and role-based permissions in the portal. No system is perfectly secure. Keep your login email secure and tell us right away if you think your account was used without permission.
Where we process data
We operate from the United States and our providers store data in the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S.
Other websites
Our site links to other websites and services, such as platform opt-out pages. Their own privacy policies apply.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we post the new version here and update the dates at the top. If a change is material, we will give more notice and ask for consent where the law requires it.
